Back in March of last year, we did a piece detailing a number of games that, while potentially interesting, unfortunately never ended up seeing the light of day. Legacy of Kain: Dead Sun, a cancelled installment of the Kain franchise was also on that list – it was a game that’s been in development for quite a while until Square Enix publicly revealed (in 2013) that it had indeed been cancelled back in 2012. Just recently, over half an hour’s worth of footage has been leaked onto the net by NeoGAF user Mama Robotnik: in the video, we can get a decent glimpse of what the finished product would’ve looked like, including exploration, combat and a bit of story as well.
