As you probably know, GTOGG is dedicated to bringing worthwhile indie games to light – if there’s one thing we love, it’s seeing cool new releases that bring fresh ideas into play. However, we sadly often find that many indie games lack a multiplayer component. So, in order to advance to the next step in our mission, we’ve decided to take matters into our own hands.
Let’s say you’ve got a fantastic idea for a multiplayer game, but lack the infrastructure required to build it the way you want to. No worries – here at GTOGG, we can help you bring your dream project to life.
Meet your new multiplayer game development tool, GamePsy (we swear we didn’t name it like that because we’re crazy, we did not).
Multiplayer game development with GamePsy
GamePsy is a developer platform for building multiplayer games. It covers all multiplayer functionalities: host finding, matchmaking, lobby management, chat and additional in-game functions.
Multiplayer functions out of the box:
- User authentication
- Matchmaking
- Game hosting
- Host browsing
- Lobby management
- In-game data-flow & communication
What we offer
For the first 10 indie developers (we reserve the right to decide if you fit the description):
- Free consulting and coding support of integrating your game*: you can dig into the mysteries of the documentation and the sample code without being afraid to take your first steps.
- Free lifetime multiplayer service** for your game: your game is entitled to use our available resources for free — the server and bandwidth are on the house!
For latecomers:
- Free multiplayer service for 1 year: your game is entitled to use our available resources for free for the duration of 1 year, starting from its initial release date.
* Limited to C++/C# languages, Windows platform only.
** A maximum of 5 years. Yes, 5 years is pretty much the EOL of most indie games. But if yours ends up being the one that gets played by several thousands of players every day, we’ll be happy to extend the supported lifetime.
